Intensive Courses
In collaboration with the University of Bayreuth, the IIK offers intensive German courses all year round for students, international experts and academics, as well as for all those who wish to learn the German language.
In addition to practical language teaching sequences, the intercultural intensive courses also include topic-oriented teaching units on regional studies. These comprise the political and social system, regional and cultural diversity of the Federal Republic of Germany as well as the everyday culture in Germany. Our teachers are highly qualified with years of experience in teaching German as a foreign and second language.
Students pay 6,- € per lesson (45 minutes)!

Individual Lessons
In addition to regular intensive German language courses, the IIK also offers individual training from the levels A1 to C2. The aim of such training is to enable the interested party to master situations which arise in a foreign language adequately by means of tailor-made, personalized, flexible individual sessions using language which is both grammatically correct and culturally appropriate. We charge 40 euros for one lesson (45 mins ),but will be happy to make you an individual offer.

Exam preparation
Are you interested in a language proficiency exam which improves your chances on the market for trainees / apprentices / the job market – or enables you to study at a German university? Then you have come to the right place.
We offer exam preparation courses on a regular basis for the following language proficiency qualifications: Telc Deutsch (German) B2 which is, above all, recognized in the field of traineeships / apprenticeships and the world of work. We also offer exam preparation for university entrance examinations:Telc Deutsch (German) C1for Higher Education, the Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache (TestDaF) (German as a Foreign Language) and the German Language Examination for University Admission (DSH).

Study German, get to know different foreign cultures and experience opportunities you will never forget! We offer all those interested, a colourful and varied course and cultural programme which you can compile to suit your own individual needs, based on your own interests. In addition to intercultural language courses, we also offer communication or specialised courses on a wide range of subject areas from music to economics to medicine. These courses are “embedded” in an extensive programme of further events.
