Examinations (telc, TestDaF)

Are you interested in taking a language test that will improve your chances on the training or job market or enable you to study at a German university? Then you are exactly right with us.

As a licensed telc and TestDaF institute, we regularly offer exam preparation courses and exams for the Telc Deutsch B2 language exam, which is recognized primarily in the fields of education and work, as well as for the Telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule and Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache (TestDaF) university entrance exams. You can take the German Language Test for University Admission (DSH) at the University of Bayreuth.

Telc Deutsch B2
Telc Deutsch (German) B2 examines general knowledge of the German language at a professional level.
One can also express oneself using clear and detailed language. One has a wide range of vocabulary when it comes to one`s own specialist field and the majority of general topics. One also has rather good knowledge of German grammar.

Telc Deutsch C1 for Higher Education
Telc Deutsch (German) C1 for Higher Education examines university related German language skills at an advanced level. The content of the exam is aimed at interested parties who wish to take up studies at a German-speaking university or already study or work in an academic profession and would like to prove their German language proficiency.

The IIK Bayreuth is a licensed test center for telc and takes the telc B2 and telc C1 Hochschule exams on various dates throughout the year.

TestDaF

Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache (TestDaF) ( German as a Foreign Language)
The TestDaF (German as a Foreign Language) is suitable for all interested parties who already have a very high level of proficiency in the German language (Senior High School / Level C1 of the Common European Framework of References for Languages). It is recognized by German universities as proof of language competence when one achieves at least Level C1 in all sections of the examination.

In our examination preparation courses one practises systematically for the four sections of the exams (reading comprehension, listening comprehension, written and oral expression) and, together with the teaching staff, develop effective methods which can be applied, in order to master the individual sections of the exam. Mock exams help one to get used to the exam procedure and, at the same time, test the language skills acquired.

The IIK is a certified test centre of the TestDaF Institute and holds examinations twice a year. Registration for the TestDaF exam takes place via the TestDaF website.

DSH

Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang (DSH)
The DSH is suitable for all prospective students who already have a very good knowledge (upper level / C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) of the German language and is taken by many German universities.
The DSH is recognized as proof of language proficiency by the German university at which you took the exam.

In our examination preparation courses one practises systematically for the four sections of the exams (reading comprehension, academic sentence structures, listening comprehension, text production and oral expression) and, together with the teaching staff, one can develop effective methods which can be applied, in order to be able to master individual sections of the exam. Mock exams help one to get used to the exam procedure and, at the same time, test the language skills acquired.
