As a licensed telc and TestDaF examination center, we regularly offer:
- Exam preparation courses
- Official German language exams
We provide exams for:
- telc Deutsch B1 and B2 – widely recognized for vocational training and employment
- telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule and TestDaF – required for university admission in Germany
- DSH (German Language University Entrance Exam) – available at the University of Bayreuth
We also offer the highly requested telc Deutsch A1 exam on multiple dates throughout the year. If your preferred date is not available, feel free to contact us – we’re happy to arrange additional exam dates flexibly.

telc
telc German A1
Basic knowledge of the German language. They can understand and use simple sentences, e.g. introduce themselves or ask questions about everyday life.

They express themselves clearly and in detail, argue well and have a large vocabulary on many topics.

telc German C1 University
For study or work: you understand complex texts, speak fluently and can express yourself with academic precision.

The IIK Bayreuth is a licensed test center for telc and conducts the telc A1, telc B1, telc B2 and telc C1 Hochschule examinations on various dates throughout the year.

TestDaF
Test of German as a Foreign Language (TestDaF)
The TestDaF is suitable for all interested parties who already have a very good knowledge of German (upper level / C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). It is recognized by German universities as proof of language proficiency if you achieve at least level C1 in all parts of the test.
In our exam preparation courses, you will systematically practise the four sections of the exams (reading comprehension, listening comprehension, written expression and oral expression) and develop effective strategies for mastering the individual exam components together with your lecturers. Mock exams familiarize you with the exam process while testing your acquired skills.

The IIK is a certified test centre of the TestDaF Institute and holds examinations twice a year. Registration for the TestDaF exam takes place via the TestDaF website.

DSH
German Language Test for University Admission (DSH)
The DSH is suitable for all prospective students who already have a very good knowledge of German (upper level / C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) and is accepted by many German universities.
The DSH is recognized as proof of language proficiency by the German university at which you took the exam.
In our exam preparation courses, you will systematically practise the four sections of the exams (reading comprehension and academic structures, listening comprehension, text production and oral expression) and develop effective strategies for mastering the individual exam components together with your lecturers. Mock exams familiarize you with the exam process while testing your acquired skills.
